I started working out at a gym 4 weeks ago. 5 days a week. 30 min. on elliptical and also weight training. Will this help cellulite to go away? By the way I feel 100 times happier and more energy. If you are thinking about starting something like this I encourage you to start now.
Anti-Cellulite

Cellulite is the lumpy substance resembling cottage cheese that is commonly found on the thighs, stomach, and butt. Cellulite is actually a fancy name for collections of fat that push against the connective tissue beneath a person's skin, which causes the surface of the skin to dimple or pucker like the surface of an orange peel.

there aren't any miracle products, treatments, or medicines that can make it go away. For example, some fancy salon treatments that promise to get rid of cellulite simply cause your skin to puff up through deep massaging, temporarily reducing the appearance of cellulite.
If you decide that you want to try to reduce the amount of cellulite you have, the best thing to do is to decrease excess body fat. If you and your doctor think that you are overweight, eat fewer calories and exercise more. Experts agree that an exercise routine that combines aerobic exercise with strength training is the best weapon against cellulite. In the meantime, if you want to conceal your cellulite, try using a self-tanning product. Cellulite tends to be a little bit less noticeable on darker skin.

I am 5ft 9in 145 lbs. flat stomach but by thighs have cellulite in them. My doctor said I am not over weight. Is there a good and fun way to get rid of the cellulite?

Well if you do some strength training and tighten your muscles your skin should adjust as wee. Try eating a low fat diet and some good strength training exercise . Or you may be perfect the way you are be glad you have a good body that you are proud of try not to let a few things make you feel down on yourself. Just take your time and exercise will help.
I've lost 20 pounds from having two children and I am swimming 100 laps a day in an olympic pool, and have been for 1 month. I've lost weight, but not the cellulite on the backs of my legs. Any remedies??

A lotion from VICHY LABORATORIES named Liposyne is suppose to help, you can bye it in a pharmacy.
I use it, but I only tried it for seven days so I don't know if its working or not.
It is so ugly. I exercise at least 3 or 4 times a week and nothing is helping.

Eat a lot of protein, enough for your current weight. Protein is what builds the connective tissue and cellulite is caused by loose or weak skin and connective tissue. Fat tissues or deposits escape through weakened connective fibrous strands and buoy up to the surface, creating the pebbly, orange peel effect. Strong skin and muscles are the best preventive measures for runaway fat.

Most women, when dieting, go on a diet of salads, fruit and "diet foods", with very little protein- which is why they still have cellulite and bad skin. You need a minimum of 1/2 your body weight in protein grams. ( example, if you weigh 100 pounds, you need at least 50 grams of protein a day.

You can get completely rid of it but you can reduce and it can only be done from the inside – healthy eating, lots of cardio, weight training and drinking lots of water.
I eat very lean, do yoga once a week.

Squats, butt lifts, lunges and ham string excercises work best. For your arms, do tricep work outs.
Also, you can check out Velasmooth, Endermologie and Mesotherapy.

Cellulite is caused by two things, 1) Fatty tissue and 2) Connective tissue.

The first can be taken care of primarily by diet and working out. Drink your fair share of water, don't eat too much and work out to maintain your metabolism.

The second is more problematic and gets worse as you age because collagen is not regenerated so the tissue becomes less elastic and of course most people gain weight as they age because of a less active life style and a drop in metabolism. This is where Velasmooth or mesotherapy come in handy.

I want to loose 50 lbs… will some of the cellulite and stretch marks go away.. or is there something I can do to get rid of the stretchmarks and cellulite? Thanks!!!
Anti-Cellulite

Sorry, but no; cellulite and stretch marks won't go away without surgery. Cellulite is located under the skin it's fat pockets and with exercise you can tone these areas to largely minimize the appearance, but you can't completely get rid of it. However, don't be discouraged over 90% of women have cellulite the key is to tone up and you will hardly notice. Stretch marks are breaks in the skins elasticity and does not go away. There are creams that can help minimize the appearance and fade them to a certain degree, but not completely remove them. Again exercise is key. It will help tighten the skin.
I need something that's effective for ridding myself of cellulite.

Cellulite is hereditary. Even skinny women can have it, unfortunately. You don't ever get rid of it completely, but you can reduce it's appearance. Drink LOTS of water, keep a healthy weight and gain muscle.
Yes, I know the God awful stuff is permanent! I exercise 5 days a week, eat super healthy and drink tons of water, etc. Are there any remedies or OTC stuff that you have found that has helped minimize it?
Anti-Cellulite

Well cellulite is hereditary and if you got it you gotta work harder to get rid of it…too bad you couldnt have eaten better and exercised more as a young adult…but dont give up you could see a plastic surgeon and have lipo done to reduce the appearance of cellulite but until you can afford lipo keep oon running and do lots of legs exercises with heaveir weights to tone underneath….
