I have always had a small waist and flat stomach, but my upper leg area and also arms have stubborn cellulite. I do cardio 3 times/week and have been doing so steadily since the beginning of this year. Any suggestions??

Tanning helps cellulite look less
Im 5'6" and 133 lbs. I've had four children and my youngest is 15 months old. I've been in shape before but it seems with this last child I've developed cellulite on my thighs arms and stomach. I've been exercising for almost 3 months and eating right…does anyone know how long it'll take me to get rid of the cellulite? 6 months? A year? I'm seeing results but very slowly.

You can't get rid of cellulite. It's permanent structural material. It's not like fat cells that can fill up and empty depending on your body's needs.
And butt

Lyposuction.
Joyce Vedral says build tiny muscles under the butt, legs, stomach to make cellulite disappear. Does anyone on here really know if this works or know of something that does work? Lets just say I can lose the 30 lbs I want, what about the ugly cellulite?

Building tiny muscles under the butt, legs and stomach will help tone those areas, but won't help make cellulite disappear.

Exercise alone won't make cellulite disappear either.

To get rid of the cellulite you can:

Dry skin body brush
Drink plenty of water and herbal teas
Do basic leg exercises
Cellulite massage
Cut out preservatives and alcohol in your diet where possible

I am 5'8"….140 pounds. I am a college athlete and in very good shape- flat stomach, toned legs, etc. The only thing I have not managed to get rid of if cellulite on the back of my thighs and my butt. Any ideas?

You have to:
– avoid fast food and sodas
– massage your problem areas
– scrub your problem areas (coffee ground scrubs work pretty well and cost nothing)
– use a contrast shower
– go for some body wrapping procedures.

Combined all together, these will make your cellulite invisible in several weeks – guaranteed! :) . I work on it all the time and nobody knows I got cellulite.

I use a skin firming lotion on my thighs and butt to help my cellulite, but I use it for my whole body also, can that cause something on the parts that dont haev cellulite, ( like me stomach, arms , chest and legs)?

No, I use skin firming all over too. I love the NIVEA and CLARINS firming products just that much. I actually think it helps with the firmness. Cellulite is caused by loss of skin elasticity, weight gain, and the fat pushing against the skin so I don't see where using firming cream on other areas would be a bad thing. You would have to gain a lot of weight to have cellulite on your arms and chest. Cellulite is most prevalent on the thighs and butt.

I,also, use MD SKINCARE daily body peel before slathering on all my firming products. It seems to assist in the process. It is formulated to firm, improve skin texture and collagen. Use it before slathering on the firming products or at nite before bed.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.

If you want to lose fat, you need to do some aerobic exercise like running…try 45 minutes a day for 4 or 5 days a week. If, after you lose the weight you want the difinition of good muscles, then you need to do situps, crunches, twists, etc.

One will burn fat, one will tone muscle. They are not substitutes for one another. If you skip the running but do crunches, you will end up with a strong, fat stomach. If you run and do no crunches, you will lose the fat but have very little definition.

Do both!!

Im not even fat. its just a little bit on my upper abdomen on the right and left side.
and you can only see it when im in the sun or under a bright light.

any ideas on how to get rid of it?

Sure, what you have means that you are not working out properly or not working out at all, the good thing is that you dont even need a gym for this exercises
do 40 to 60 seconds plank (this means, put yourself like you were going to do a push up with your elbows supporting your upper body, your back straight and your buttt looking upwards) stay there
Then do one side (like in yoga moves) for 30 secs each side
do 30 sit-ups
Thats it for work out. (this means you can do them EVERY other day, so you let your muscles rest) if this is to easy do 60 secs and if you have a swiss ball use one in the front plank
for nutrition, eat 6 times a day instead of 3 drink lots of water, try not to eat any fat foods(yeah you know what they are)
eat lean protein meats (like chicken, turkey tuna)
I plan on working hard to lose the weight afterward but I am worried because I have heard that cellulite never disappears. I was just wondering if this circumstance would be any different. Any answers would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!!

Wow! I was just about to ask the SAME question!! I know cellulite never really disappears but what you can do that I found helped me is use some of that skin toning cream/oil to prevent stretch marks and scars all over your butt, thighs, leggs, as well as your stomach.. That has been helping me quite a bit and I will check back to see everyone elses answers!! Good luck and Congrat's!
