Anti-Cellulite

IM YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND!!! LOL Im 24 and im 9 months pregnant with my 4rth Ive dona ALOT of research and pure products are the best!! lotions at the stores are only dilluted and full of ingredients that arent good for skin Whenever you buy a product make sure to look at the ingredients first example, if you want cocoa butter the only ingredient should be cocoa butter not water, mineral oil, stearic acid, cetyl alcohol etc….I have 2 great recipes for you and they are working great for me!! I didnt use anything (besides regular lotion) with my first 3 Big Mistake!! This time i did the research and my skin even at 9 months pregnant is glowing and smooth

My homemade recipes
1 cup olive oil
1 cup coconut oil
2 oz vitamin e oil (10-12 capsules)
6 vitamin a capsules
Heat on low to melt coconut oil and blend ingredients store in fridge (for lotion bar as it will harden) or in cupboard for your basic oil

6-8oz cocoa butter(this one is my fave)
6 oz almond oil
4 oz coconut oil
2 oz vitamin e oil
6 vitamin a capsules
Heat on low to melt coconut oil and cocoa butter blend ingredients store in fridge (for lotion bar as it will harden) or in cupboard for your basic oil

First i exfoliate (great for removing dead skin cells and rejuvinating skin) basically it wakes up your skin and prepares it to absorb moisture at its best Get a loofah and your bodywash of choice prefferably with exfoliating beads scrub in circular motions for a good 1-3 minutes than apply oil within 3 minutes of getting out of the shower its recommended to massage into skin so i spend about 3 minutes massaging into my skin

My old stretch marks from 5 years back are even improving!!
Ive only been doing this for 2 months now and my skin is smoother the redness is fading more everyday its said that it takes a good 6 months to heal but its definetly worth it and remember they are always going to be there but you can dramatically fade and heal them if you do this daily You shouldnt have a problem either since this is your first and your doing this early before the marks get older and more permanent I wish i would have!!! And use when pregnant again this will 100% prevent new marks

Here are some more recipes not my own but recommended

1/2 Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1/2 Cup Aloe Vera Gel
- 10 Vitamin E Capsules, Drained
- 5 Vitamin A Capsules, Drained
Place in fridgerator and use twice or more a day. Rub into skin untill fully absorbed

4 teaspoons nescafe coffee, or brand you prefer
1 cup coconut oil
Brew coffee as you normally do.
Add the brewed coffee to the coconut oil.
Bring to a boil.
Remove from heat.
Allow to cool.
Rub this every night before going to sleep over your stretch marks.
This when done regularly will lighten the stretch marks and make them less visible.

Almond oil,jojoba oil,apricot-kernel oil,avocado oil,sweet almond oil,coconut oil,olive oil,emu oil,grapeseed oil,lavender oil,castor oil,lanoline oil

Vitamins A, C, E, and K Cocoa butter,shea butter

All of these are great for skin cocoa butter coconut oil shea butter almond oil olive oil and emu oil are the top oils i read about that were mostly recommended create your own mixture using these ingredients or use seperately I got my oils from vitaminlife.com best price for the most quantity that i could find anywhere its even cheaper to pay shippin and handling than buy from your local healthfood store well ill stop babbling email me for more questions if youd like keep in touch with your results too!! Good luck

All of this applies to cellulite also exfoliation is one of the best things to do for cellulite also eat healthy and drink lots of water exercise and toning will do wonders too YOU CAN GET RID OF IT i am living proof!! lol

I have heard of a million different ways to disguise it, but I want it GONE! I am in the process of starting to eat right and exercise more. First of all, there is NO WAY I would have lipo (it's not THAT bad) Do those creams really work? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
:)
Anti-Cellulite

Cellulite is a medical term for fat, one of the most stubbornly irritating problems faced by women. Cellulite is pure fat pushed outward towards the skin while the connective fibres that connect your skin to muscle pull inwards, specifically lumpy fat located around the upper thighs and lower buttocks. Women are genetically have a tendency to store fat around their hip and thigh area. That is the place where cellulite occurs the most. Cellulite affects many more women than men. Men don't get cellulite because they store fat around their middles, rather than in the cellulite zone (thighs, hips and behind). It is estimated that almost 85 percent of American women have excessive cellulite on their thighs and buttocks. Also, the dermis over the fat layer is thicker in men, which hides dimples, and more importantly, men's connective fibers are anchored differently.

What is the cause of cellulite?
The latest theory suggests that female hormonal influences cause fat cells to cluster together in the thighs. The clumped fat cells constrict the tiny local blood vessels and impair normal blood flow. With damaged blood vessels and compromised blood flow, the cells in the thigh area cannot repair themselves in their usual way. Instead, deposits of protein form around the clumped fat cells and damaged blood vessels. The combination of protein and fat with poor circulation creates spots under the skin, which project a "cottage cheese" appearance in the thighs. In short, scientists now think cellulite is a consequence of female hormones, decreased circulation in tiny blood vessels, and protein and fat globule deposits under the skin. Much of this process may be genetically determined.

How to get Rid of cellulite?
Your first plan of action to get rid of cellulite should be exercise. If you are able to shed fat, you will automatically reduce cellulite. Build up muscle tone which will help you in burning more calories even while at rest. In order to shed fat from your body you will have to cut out the fat from your diet. Switch to fruits and vegetables, whole-grain breads, chapatti made from unpolished wheat flour, 'khakharas' and low-fat yoghurt made from skimmed milk.

Massage breaks up fat cells, which makes it harder for to dimple.

The next thing you should perform is a good cellulite massage. Massaging the thighs to promote good circulation is another technique used to reduce cellulite. Some anti-cellulite creams also suggest you to use them with massage. A cream makes massage easier, but it's the massage, not the potions, that probably helps most. Many spas use a combination of herbs and other naturally derived creams, in conjunction with massage, heating pads, or warm towels. A special machine called Endermologie is also used to help massage the skin and promote circulation. Endermologie experts claim their machine increases local circulation as the clusters of cellulite are rolled over and stretched out. Endermologie machines are used by some dermatologists and plastic surgeons, and may temporarily reduce cellulite when combined with a healthy diet and regular exercise program. A healthy diet and a regular exercise program appear to control cellulite by stimulating circulation and metabolism.

Liposuction is another surgical procedure used to reduce cellulite. After an incision, a small metal tube is placed in the fat site, and a pump like device suctions unwanted fat from the body. Scientific literature suggests that this is the most effective way to achieve visible results. Liposuction, however, involves a certain amount of risk and should be discussed with your dermatologist or plastic surgeon.

Liposuction acts only to reduce fatty deposits; it does not address the problems of circulation or hormone influence that contribute to cellulite. Although liposuction appears to provide the most visible results, future treatments that target fat removal as well 'as circulation and hormone influences would remove cellulite even more effectively.

Cellulite Cream and Lotion
Forget the ads. There is no magic cellulite lotion that can help you get rid of cellulite completely. But you can reduce the appearance of cellulite to some extent.

Cellulite creams for the thighs contain one or more ingredients that have reported to destroy fat deposits, and thereby prevent the formation of cellulite. Research studies done by scientists have shown that at the most cellulite creams show minimal reduction for cellulite and that too with creams that contain caffeine. Cream-based products with botanical ingredients, such as sweet clover, ivy barley, lemon, kola nut, fennel, algae, and strawberry, are also advertised for cellulite reduction. Till now, nobody knows how these substances help to get rid of cellulite, and no good researches support the claims of these cellulite creams and lotions.

You can also rub in tretinoin cream, which is a cream to reduce cellulite. It may improve the appearance of cellulite when used along with massage and exercise. When you use tretinoin, the skin gets a bit thicker and firmer, and then the little fat pockets don't project through the skin as much. But tretinoin isn't a miracle cure.

Cellulite is fat. You aren't going to get rid of it very much by the use of creams. So, if you've tried everything and still harbour a few unwanted ripples, don't fret. It is possible that you can be at your ideal weight and in great shape, yet still have dimples caused by cellulite.

Drinking water can definitely help "flush" your body of unnecessary fat cells, but drinking water alone isn't the best anti-cellulite treatment. In addition to exercise, there are a lot of non-invasive procedures on the market that offer dramatic results for people who are otherwise in shape, but have problem areas.

Because cellulite is beneath the surface of the skin and can also be genetic, most of us need that extra push to see results. I would suggest reseaching Mesotherapy and Lipodissolve…both are proven to be highly effective at breaking down fat cells through sodium deoxycholate and other active agents and flushing them naturally out of the body. If you combine these treatments with drinking lots of water and exercise, I think you'd be suprised by how quick and effective the treatments are. You should consult with a specialist though, to determine exactly what results you can expect and if the treatment is right for you.

You can use the websites below for research or to schedule a free consult with a practice near you. Oh, and you might also want to research VelaSmooth and Endermologie….different methodologies for treatment, but again….noticeable results. Hope this helps!

I just asked my wife about this who's been trying to fight this forever, especially since our kids were born, and she's done some extensive research

She says that definetly the best way is through diet so you should always try that first but if you're in a huge hurry, and are adamant about using a cream she recommends that people try Revitol….

One major reason it's so good is because of it's natural ingredients that seem to absorb into the body, and isn't greasy like most. None work right away but this seems to have worked the fastest, and she's right because I'm the one looking at her…

Plus, it has alot of concentrated caffeine which is supposedly supposed to help….

Also (she just looked it up) it's got Retinol A which is huge factor in fighting cellulite and making the skin healthy as well. I guess all these ingredients working together kick some major butt…

Hope that helps

Can you get rid of cellulite and stretch marks with surgery?
there has to be some kind of surgery that does it…

around your butt, hips, thighs, ect.

and how much would that cost?

Anti-Cellulite

The correct answer is maybe. Lipo can help the appearance of cellulite but it really depends on your body and your skin.

Some Lipo techniques can improve the appearance of cellulite and can help promote skin tightening, however the degree to which each patient will see improvement is uncertain. Some patients see remarkable changes in their cellulite and others will see no change. Because the amount of cellulite improvement you may (or may not) see cannot be predicted, lipo is not considered a treatment for cellulite. If you are over age 60 and have very little skin elasticity or have undergone a massive weight loss, your skin my have permanent wrinkling that cannot be fixed.

Exercise and diet may play a larger role in getting rid of cellulite than Lipo. Liposuction, diet, and exercise may be your best bet. Stretch marks depends on the individual. Some creams can help the marks go away, again, exercise and tightening the skin seam to help most. I would suggest to start with diet, water, and exercise and do what you can. Then use Lipo. For some people no amount of exercise will eliminate fat in certain areas. Building muscle may work the best in terms of tightening the skin, ridding cellulite, and reducing fat.

Cost for lipo varies, expect $3000-$15,000 for butt, hips, and full thighs. The MD that does it makes a huge difference in the outcome so do your research and then do more research. Get more than one quote. Try liposculpture and other newer procedures that do less harm. Some clinics will now finance the procedures for as low as $99 a month.

How to Remove Cellulite

Understand what cellulite is. Cellulite is a fatty substance that is found under your connective tissues. As it accumulates it pushes against the connective tissues and makes the skin pucker and ripple.

Start drinking a lot of water – I mean a lot! At least 10 8oz glasses of filtered water daily. If we're going to get rid of that cellulite and the toxins stored in it we need to give your body a way to push it out.

Develop an exercise program that is designed to help remove your body fat content. Exercise is an effective way of reducing the amount of cellulite that you have. Effective exercise programs will need to include cardio, strength training and flexibility training. You should try working out at least 3 to 4 times a week.

Tone up your muscles with strength building and resistance exercises. Studies have shown that improving muscle firmness can help you get rid of cellulite. Concentrate extra time on muscle beneath the areas with lots of cellulite, but create a total body workout for best results.

Stick to a low calorie diet. Cellulite is not exclusive to overweight women, but eating healthy will keep the size of your fat cells small. This is not enough to get rid of cellulite, but it will contribute to the solution.

Buy a moisturizer that has a sunless tanner mixed in. The moisturizer will hydrate you skin and reduce the severity of the rippling. The sunless tanner will darken you skin making your cellulite less visible. This is a great cosmetic trick to hide cellulite while you work on lowering your body fat content.

Shop for a quality cellulite treatment cream. There are a lot of these products on the market. You want to look for a cream that contains antioxidants and anti-inflammatory ingredients.

Consider topical creams to that tighten the surface of the skin or the connective tissue beneath the skin. Amino acids, seaweed and ginkgo-biloba extracts all act as skin tighteners. Look for one or more of these ingredients on different anti-cellulite products.

Don't stop using topical treatments or the effects will wear off. These are only temporary fixes.

Try Aloe Vera cream. Many people report using a good Aloe Vera cream twice a day helps reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Try skin brushing. This technique is very simple and relatively inexpensive. Simply use a loofah sponge or a soft body brush and scrub your hips, thighs and belly. This not only helps you to exfoliate, but it also stimulates blood flow and supports lymph functions. This will help to minimize the appearance of cellulite.

A multi-faceted approach works best when trying to remove cellulite. Try matching a diet and exercise program with topical creams that include anti-oxidants.

Once a week put a generous layer of castor oil on the skin over the parts you are working on, put the old PJs on that you don't care about and go to sleep like that. This helps to increase your lymphatic drainage and get rid of trapped toxins!

Don't get discouraged – change takes a while, but this will help you lose weight too!

Best results can be seen after about 3 months of treatment.

Quit smoking (if u do). Many smokers have large concentrations of cellulite, making researchers think there may be a connection between smoking and cellulite.

Cut caffeine from your diet. Unfortunately, one of the toxins in cellulite appears to be from caffeine. However, many anti-cellulite creams use caffeine. Caffeine if applied to the outside of skin may help reduce cellulite. Rubbing coffee grinds on cellulite is a popular choice for many people, though researchers question its efficacy.

=)

I have heard cellulite is due to fat stored in your body but I have a very slim body then why this fat is being stored up in my hips.I walk alot and even scrub that area but it doesn't go away. Please if anyone of you know how to tackle this then help me.

* Boost your circulation to the area by using a brush, or a massage glove and massage the area every day for 5 min at least.
* Increase your exercise and watch the diet. Avoid sugary snacks and instead reach for fruit and raw veggies.
* Drink lots of water to cleanse your system and flush the toxins from your body cells.
* Avoid coffee and switch to herbal teas. Fruit juices are better than soda too.
* If you enjoy aromatherapy, blend a couple of drops of your favorite into a carrier oil like almond for example and GENTLY massage this into the area in question on a daily basis.
* It will take about 4-6 weeks before you see any results so don't expect to see results on the first day and don't expect to see 100% of it disappear. I don't think we could be this lucky but you can improve things to a great degree.
* Vitamin C has been recommended by cellulite researchers.
* Swimming is beneficial as is walking and stretching exercises to help eliminate cellulite.
I know exercise and diet has to play a major part too. Just wanna find out what's currently effective(?) in the market.
