I'm 5'6" and I weigh 121.5 pounds. I'm 18 years old, and I'm still in college. :D My waistline is 28.5" and my hips measure 33.5", in case it helps.

My stretch marks appear behind my thighs, near my butt, and on the top, front part of my thighs. They aren't very obvious, but it's visible when I wear a bikini.

I've tried using Nivea's Goodbye Cellulite for about a month, but I stopped because I didn't really see any difference, and because I misplaced it. :D

So, are there any proven methods you use to reduce cellulite? Something natural,for example, oats or the like. Or a massage technique perhaps? Personal experience would be highly valued. Thank you very much!

I had the same problem and am afraid to tell you thats theres no way to get rid of stretch marks really i tried lots ! of creams and finally found out that they can only fade with time but you can stop yourself getting more just by staying at the weight you are now and not puttng on wait (am sorry if that sounds mean ). and the cellulite can go easily by eather goin to the gym or buying a bike .. cellulite is silpily the fat under your skin so you any need to do something liek running,tredmills,ridding a bike :)
My mother gave it to me to help with my cellulite on my thighs before i have to wear those short spandex for volleyball, but i wasn't sure if it works…how long does it take to see a difference?

I was planning on purchasing this product because i heard good reviews for it so im sure it will help you too. i think it will start working within 2 weeks. remember to massage it in for about 30 seconds, this will increase the circulation and help the product to work better. good luck :)

Umm actually not everyone gets it (some woman said that in one of the answers)
just massage your skin regularly and put coffee and other cellulite lotions on … should stop from forming.
oh and the obvious is WORK OUT
its gonna form if you dont and that d be cause your fatt!

OMG i watched something about htis on tv like 2 days ago. Aparently they have found that yes some creams work better than others but it is the actual massageing of the cream into the cellulite area thet helps get rid of it. So they now rekon normal creams (like hand creams etc) that you buy at the supermarket etc do the same, as long as u use it and massage the area 2 or 3 times a day for about 30 seconds!
Not by drinking it, but i heard that by rubbing it in the cellulite area will diminish cellulites?

is it true?

It's not that the coffee itself that reduces the cellulite.The coffee grounds are used as an exfolliater.What happens is that because the coffee grounds are coarse it will exfoliate your skin and as you exfoliate you massage the skin therefore getting rid of cellulite.

Cellulite is just umm… for want of a better way to put it, clumps of fat. By massaging the areas that are cellulite prone you are gently breaking these clumps of fat and encouraging blood circulation.

I'm going to start using coffee grounds as soon as my current body scrub finishes.

I have extremely bad cellulite all over my legs, even on my calves! it can be seen without even pinching my skin! obviously this is rare,…but do i have a medical condition?
can it be treated?
could it just be the condition of my skin because i also have spider veins and poor muscle tone and skin tone…my legs already look like my moms do..and im only 20 and im one hundred pounds!

Hi,

There is no one cream or one diet or one exercise, that would work against cellulite. You have to combine healthy lifestyle, massage, treatments and exercise.

The fastest way to reduce cellulite is having at least a couple of body wrapping procedures. You will see the results after the first time, but a course of 3 or 4 procedures will work best. Also try to scrub and dry brush your problem areas every day. Take a contrast shower. Use some lotions or body oils, they do not have to be very expensive to work.

If you can do everything I mentioned above, for at least 2 weeks, you will definitely see good results! And do not stop working on it when it seems to disappear! I know because I work on it every day also :)

I finally began dieting and excersizing at my 40 yo. I am losing approximately 3 pounds per week and got rid off 18 pounds so far. My upper body looks great, but my belly, butt and legs are horrible because of cellulite. Can anybody advise me on a good "recepie" to get rid off "cottage cheeze"?

Yes, sleep, water, and exercise do work. Just make sure that when you do exercise, u stretch before and after your workout. The workout itself is completely pointless with the stretching. Here's a method I do at home to prevent cellulite. Remember, I said prevent not get rid of. I'm not sure how it would work for you but it can't hurt to give it a try. Get some preparation H, saran wrap and a pair of tights. What I'm about to tell you, you could do either or, or both. I just started doing both because I'm about to get into being photographed. Put Preparation H one both your thighs and abdomen. Wrap each in the saran wrap. Put on the tights and go to the gym. U could also do the same thing while you sleep at night. I just started doing and I just saw the results from the gym part in one night. So I know it works. Normally, I just sleep in but now I do both. The ointment help shrink the fat and the saran wrap and tights keep you skin taunt. Also, one more thing. Exfoliate your skin everyday. Don't scrub too hard just do it gently everyday. Over time you'll start to see the results. I've been that for two months and it's also helping with prevention because my skin, muscles, and fat are getting massaged on a regular basis. Give all these a try. HTH!!!!!!

One way to get rid of cellulite is massaging. This is a very vigorous form of massage. Remember u are trying to break up fat, so it will involve some hard work.

How to massage:

- Apply massage oil to your hands, rub your palms together to warm it up and energize it.

-Rub the oild into the area you are walking on until it is fully absorbed by the skin. After that, knead the area by pinching and lifting the fat and skin folds between the thumbs and four fingers. Do for five minutes, gently at first but slowly apply more pressure over time.

-It is benefical to put hot towels on the area you're working on. leave them in place for 5 minutes or so; this helps the absorbed oil to work better. (any oil will do, the thing is to massage correctly). After kneading the skin, you can warm up the tissue with friction, by rubbing the area briskly with the palm of your hand.
