Woah! I was just discussing this w/my mom today, since my sister is getting a promotion to "Supervisor of Homeopathic Medicine" in her company. She told me…long ago and for SEVERAL BORING HOURS…about how the fascia causes cellulite (when combined with fat). The fascia is like a "web" of connective tissue under the skin and even a little fat can "ooze" up through, causing a dimpled look (says Sis).

This is why "cures" focus on MASSAGE so often. It stretches the fascia and makes the fat less visible. Also, losing FAT helps, too, but I've seen fairly thin women (it's usually women, I don't know why) with cellulite! So…massage away, I guess!

I dont want lipo, or use pills, but how can u get rid of it??
please no stupid answers.
i am not overweight lookin to get skinny, i am already thin, but i have a little cellulite, and i would like to get rid of it
the cellulite is on my top part of the back my legs

Exercise and diet is still the best method of combating cellulite. People must find time to relax and visit spas for body pampering. Exercise is specifically effective as circulation can actually minimize the appearance of the cellulites.

Eat detoxifying diet. It should consist of lot of fruits and vegetables. Whole grain foods are also highly advised. Limit or eliminate coffee and soft drinks. Some aver that spicy foods are also responsible for many instances of cellulites but this claim is yet to be proved. Avoid cigarette smoking and drinking alcohol, since they cause the production of toxins in the body.

In order to lose cellulite you do need to lose weight since cellulite is fat…. try running and lessening your calorie intake and over time the cellulite should disappear.
So far i droped my bmi from 24.4 to 22.4 and i swear my cellulite has almost all gone is it due to weightloss?

Yep
I noticed the same thing when I lost weight
I don't really have it, but I'm just wondering if you can "treat" cellulite by exercising and losing weight. I know part of the reason people get cellulite is due to genetics (which is why some skinny people have it). So there must be some other way. Are there inexpensive ways?

Losing weight is the only way to decrease the appearance of cellulite. There is no treatment except for liposuction.
The appearance of cellulite is caused by fibrous bands under your skin that result in the lumpy looking texture. How can lotions and creams remove the appearance of the fibrous bands under your skin? Also, doesn't working out increase the appearance of cellulite as your skin tries to tighten? Or is it possible to even lose weight when you have cellulite? How can you lose fat when there are fatty deposits that have become hardend under your skin?

You're correct that lotions absolutely do not work. Any positive effects are actually the result of rubbing which swells the skin thus hiding the lumps for an hour at most.

Losing weight does reduce the appearance of cellulite, because the less fat you have, the less chance of fat cells bulging to the surface. Working out builds muscle which also reduces the appearance of cellulite.

Cellulite creams sold in the market have been found to be effective in averting the occurrence of cellulites but they cannot destroy the tissues completely. These creams contain alpha-hydroxyl acids don’t actually get rid of cellulites but instead increase the elasticity of the skin, thus making the cellulites less evident.

Exercise and diet is still the best method of combating cellulite. People must find time to relax and visit spas for body pampering. Exercise is specifically effective as circulation can actually minimize the appearance of the cellulites.

I used celluloss from Herballife and Dior anti-cellulite, not cheap, but if used frequently, it really works! Also I can recommend sauna/cold showers!
I’m 16 and I have cellulite when I sit down. Whenever I wear shorts I’m so self-conscious about my thighs because I know for a fact that my upper outside of my thighs are showing cellulite. And I mean MAJOR cellulite. I’m not all that obese either! I’m 5′7 and 130 lbs. But the cellulite on my upper outside of my thighs is really getting to me! I need so advice on getting back into shape because I’ve stopped playing water polo!

help?
some exercises?
diet?
to keep myself toned and to get rid of that extra thigh fat??

Anyone can have cellulite.
That’s why you see large women without it, and tiny women with it. Cellulite is caused by the the uneven distribution of fat under the skin. The only way to make it go away, or diminish it, is to tone the muscle where you have cellulite, which will flatten the fat, making the dimple appearance disapear.

try swimming, leg lifts, squats, anything that will tone the muscles in your upper/outer thigh.
