Anti-Cellulite

Cellulite is fat, nothing more, nothing less. Don't you think if there was a cream or gel that dissolved fat, we'd all use it and nobody would be fat?

The only real way to lose fat (or cellulite if that's what you prefer to call it) is to eat right and exercise. There are no magic pills, creams, or gadgets that will do that for you.

Let's do some math. lets say Jlo decided to throw down and eat 12 boxes of donuts. she gained around 100 lbs of body fat. now she can fit into a size 24 plus jeans. would she have like dimples or cellulite on her ass because shes so big? or would it be smooth?

You must be a silly little man. To answer your initial question….Yes Yes OMG Yes. I have had the pleasure of seeing beautiful large buttocks without cellulite. Live some amigo and stop dissing JLO. You racist dog.

Squats, butt lifts, lunges and ham string excercises work best.
Also, you can check out non-surgical Velasmooth, Endermologie and Mesotherapy.

Cellulite is caused by two things, 1) Fatty tissue and 2) Connective tissue.

The first can be taken care of primarily by diet and working out. Drink your fair share of water, don't eat too much and work out to maintain your metabolism.

The second is more problematic and gets worse as you age because collagen is not regenerated so the tissue becomes less elastic. Also, most people gain weight as they age because of a less active life style and a drop in metabolism. This is where Velasmooth or mesotherapy come in handy.

I thought it was the same thing until i read on a bottle of lotion that this lotion works on stretch marks and not cellulite

Celluilite is fat deposits on your skin which look like lumps and bumps normally on thighs (alot of fat there)

stretch marks are when your skin grows too quickly so you get purple/red marks normally on thighs if you put on weight on or your tummy if you have a baby

if you want to get rid of cellulite you needs to stimulate the area to get rid of the toxins….detox

and with stretch marks you need to use cocoa butter or bio oil

I weigh 109 im 5'3 and a half and im starting to get very visible cellulite on my thighs and butt! my mom and her mom never had cellulite, same with my dads sisters or his mom.
creams dont work. does anyone know any secret remedies? or is the only way to lose it by losing weight? cause that would be very unhealthy for me.

In order to lose cellulite you do need to lose weight since cellulite is fat…. try running and lessening your calorie intake and over time the cellulite should disappear.
I want just a rub on cream that's not too expensive ( like no more than 30 $) and only takes a couple weeks to see GOOD results and actually WORKS. thanks
ok um I dont need to LOSE alot of weight….. I am 5'3" and weigh anywhere from 109-113 lbs

Don't be fooled, you are better off making an appointment with Dr.90210 – there is no such thing as a thinning cream or cellulite reducing cream….exercise and diet reduce the appearance of cellulite, and they (doctors) can suction out fat from target areas (Liposuction) but there's nothing u can buy that's cheap and works in two weeks! Spend your $30 on a one-month gym membership and GO everyday!!
Any tips would be wonderful!

I exercise five times a week for an hour (walking quickly up and down big hills, etc.). But I was reading that there is no scientific evidence that cellulite can go away with exercise?

Diet:
As with any other fat, cellulite can be reduced with a healthy, low-fat diet. The appearance of a localized fat lump or dimple may not change, but your overall cellulite can diminish with a diet low in saturated fats and trans fatty acids — both of which are common in processed foods and are more difficult for the body to process. Replace processed foods with fresh fruit and vegetables and whole grains. Reduce your overall fat consumption and choose "healthy" fats (like lean meat or nuts) over junk food. Limit your daily caloric intake to a healthy amount for size and lifestyle. Take a multi-vitamin, and drink lots of water.Combine excercise with a healthy diet to reduce fat and cellulite.

Exercise:
Without exercise, even the healthiest of diets can show minimal results. A combination of cardio (like running or biking) and strength training can help your body metabolise food more efficiently, decreasing the accumulation of excess cellulite and the overall appearance of fat on your body. If you're not used to a lot of exercise, start slow; try walking a mile or two everyday before you take up jogging. If you have a hard time with motivation, ask a friend to join you or find a nearby gym to join and talk to a personal trainer. Be realistic in your expectations for youself, and remember that thirty minutes a day of any exercise (walking the dog counts) will make a difference.

When You're Trying To Get Rid Of Cellulite – Avoid:
Coffee & Soda
Alcohol
Salty, Spicy, Fired, and Oily food
Fat & cream,
Too much sugar
And no smoking

Cellulite is there forever. Even the thinnest women have it. You probably are genetically predisposed to having cellulite. As long as you have fat in your body, cellulite will be there. Think of it this way, your muscles act like a screen door, and the fat acts like clay. When you press the clay through the screen door, you get that "lumpy" look – the same with our body. Its the fat pressing against the muscle. try to tone your muscles though – that might help you to look a little more "firm".
