Cellulite is simply the "cottage cheese" appearance that occurs primarily on the thighs and buttocks but occasionally elsewhere. Women generally have a worse problem with cellulite than men. Cellulite is essentially just fat, and the dimpled appearance is due to the way the fat collects beneath the skin. It is very hard to get rid of.

However, I did notice that after I lost weight by watching what I ate and exercizing daily, and I slimmed down to a tiny size 3, most of my cellulite disappeared. I have gained ten pounds since then and some of it is back. I would like to think that the various anti-cellulite "skin firming" creams the sell in drugstores would work, but I don't think they really do. As for the high-priced cellulite treatments they perform in spas, the improvement is termporary, minimal, and very expensive.

The best thing to do if you have cellulite is to exercize regularly, eat healthy foods, and wear clothes that cover it up!

I think it was On the Tyra show they tested the Nivea Good-bye cellulite cream for like 6 weeks and discovered it really worked. buy it but make sure to use it regularly
I am 22 and skinny, but I have more cellulite than a lot of fat women that I have seen. I have very muscular legs but cellulite just COVERS my WHOLE legs! (Yes, even the lower part.) I have a little on my arms too. HELP ME PLEASE!!

I have the same problem….i looked all over online and I found this E 70 Cellutone by dermafresh i put it on after I took a shower every day i didnt even have to rub it in and it takes about 7 minutes to dry the next morning you wake up your legs feel like you've been working them out for hours so it works i've been using it for 2 weeks and the cellulite is totally gone and i even lost 2 1/2 inches on my legs i could't believe it you can get this at www.dermafresh.com to order but i found it at Walgreens for $14.99 i hope i could help:)

I have not participated in the challenge, but I have tried Nivea Good Bye Cellulite cream. As I understand, the challenge is about the whole program: cellulite treatment cream, nutrition / healthy diet and exercise combined. I have a lot of experience in beating my cellulite and can say that everything together really works, and there is no need to have Nivea production for this :)
I am sure that the program works, if done honestly. (Everything works, you just have to really dedicate your time to your goal).

Do i rub it on my leg with my bare hands, do i wet the coffee? is it any kind of coffee? i heard tyra banks does this but i missed how she did it. please help! i'm leaving on a cruise in about 2 months and i'm dying to wear cute short summer dresses!.

Make a body wrap at home using coffee and seaweed to reduce cellulite. Spread warm ground coffee on the troubled areas, wrap with moist seaweed and then cover with plastic wrap. Keep this on for about half an hour. Unwrap and wash off in the shower, while doing so massage the area. There are a number of commercial products too that you can use to reduce cellulite. It is important to have a healthy diet and exercise regularly to prevent the buildup of cellulite.

Ug, don't be so hard on yourself! Even my super toned friends have it, and it's a fact of life for most women. The cause is mainly genetic and cellulite formation is linked to hormones, estrogen to be exact. That is why women gain fat in their thighs, bottom, tummy and the back of their arms when they go through hormonal changes like pregnancy. I've been an aerobic instructor for many years and, while I've always been fairly thin, I've had cellulite on the back of my legs, my bottom and my upper arms for awhile. Two years ago, I decided to get a personal trainer and add weight training to my workout. Wow, what a difference that made! My cellulite is gone gone gone and it was due to the weight training. While the aerobic exercise benefitted my cardiovascular needs, I wasn't getting the tone that I needed. I worked out with my trainer 2 to 3 times a week on weights, an hour each day. Most people don't know this but you will actually burn more calories in an hour of strength training than you will in aerobic activity, if done properly. What's even better is your body continues to burn calories hours after you're done training! I went through a down phase a couple of months ago, and I stopped training and started eating carbs. Guess what came back? The cellulite. If you want to lose it, learn to love fish, especially salmon, get rid of the carbs like bread(keep good carbs like veggies), strength train 2 to 3 times a week, with a trainer if at all possible, if not, find a friend if you don't have the motivation to go on your own. Get on the road and run/walk. Watch your diet, you know when you're going wrong. Do those things, and I promise you that your cellulite will be greatly diminished, if not gone. The bad news? You have to give yourself at least a month of training and diet changes to see visible results. But it is well worth it I can tell you. I have people stop me every day and ask me what I have been doing different, because my body looks so much leaner and tighter. Highly recommended reading? Body for Life by Bill Phillips. I heard that you should crush caffinatted coffee and mix with hand cream and rub on cellulite for 5 mins a day, then shower off. I heard this helps. Have you tried it?

Yeah,i was actually watching the tyra show and heard about the cofffee thing and me and my mom tryed it and it does really help, its like a quick tightner for the skin if it works for me im sure it will work for you too.

another one is before bed if you have any pimples or blemishes all you have to do is put honey on it cover it with a band aid and in the morning your skin will be repaired.i do it everynight ! :)

What do you think of cellulite? And what about cellulite on skinny girls? I'm skinny and I work out, but I still dread the bikini season because I do have some cellulite. But instead of covering up, it's better to just don't give a damn and show that you're comfortable in your own skin, or what?

As a female…i don't think your going to ever be completely happy in your own skin…theres always something that needs fixed. I'm just like you…i'm skinny, but i have a ghetto booty and heavier legs…but there not bad…but i HATE HATE HATE bikiki season..and it makes me shy to be naked around my significant other. but i really don't think guys pick us apart as much as we, ourselves do it…so i think you have the right idea…don't give a fuck. Confidence is SEXY!!!
