Unfortunately cellulite does not necessarily go away if you loose weight; many slim women suffer from the same cellulite problems as everyone else. In fact every woman has a certain amount of cellulite, because unfortunately this is how our bodies store fat.
Is it better to jog or use the elliptical to get rid of cellulite and will weight loss help get rid of it ? or even if you lose weight can it still stay there?? I hate my thighs

There is a huge difference between losing weight, and losing fat. when most people lose weight, 80-90% of that weight is muscle mass. they don't know how to diet. so, it makes cellulites look worse.
if you ask a doctor about cellulites, he'll tell you it's genetic and it's a disease… sadly, doctors don't know anything about the "physique" and nutrition (most doctors only take a 3 credit hour course in their entire 7 year degree plan and somehow they are experts in nutrition)… cellulites are basically accumilations of fat cells. I have helped many people get rid of cellulites by losing pure fat and gaining some muscle. have you ever seen a lean person WITH MUSCLE have cellulites? (i'm not talking about women in magazines, or models, or men who are "thin"..i'm talking about bodybuilders and fitness figures)

the most people who complain about cellulites are people who "dieted" down a couple of lbs and then suddenly these cellulites appeared… or people who kept on getting fatter and fatter and perform no physical activities what so ever. you lose the fat, keep the muscle, you get rid of cellulites… simple. not easy, won't be fast… it's just simple.

get some help on how to lose fat via proper dieting techniques and proper weight traning and exercise.

hope that helps

I need to lose weight, cause I am currently overweight :( But I am worried, can my body just bounce back to what it was… what will happen with the cellulite, and stretch marks I got from gaining the weight? I know this may seem like a silly question but I am really worried that I'll lose the weight… and my body may not bounce back. (I don't believe I'll have excess skin)… but what would happen to the stretch marks, and cellulite?

There are various kinds of cellulites. One is found in the muscles of active women like dancers and runners. The hard or solid cellulites are difficult to eliminate, since they are fixed directly to the muscles. But soft cellulites are highly visible and can give a sagging look to the body. But though they are present in bigger muscle areas, they can be easily removed.

Unfortunately, cellulite problems commonly plague women. The problem can begin at an early age of 14 years and the affected areas can become bigger as they age. Women taking birth control pills and new mothers are also highly susceptible. Injured persons are also likely to develop cellulites.

Can anyone tell me a few recepies for home-made cellulite remedies? I have cellulite on my upper thighs and a little bit on my butt. I would like to make these areas smooth, but most store-bought or over-the-counter products are too expensive for me to use.

I thought Jergens moisturizer was not so expensive. You actually get rid of cellulites after eight weeks.

Cellulite is sick.

I have had it since I was a small child and I am NOT overweight.

I eat healthy, exercise, and drink plenty of water.

I have also tried lots of topical ointments to get rid of it but they dont work.

Anyone know a way to get rid of it?

There are specific exercises to target the removal of cellulites. i found samples of these cellulite-specific exercises in http://www.cellulitetalk.org/cellulite-treatment/get-rid-of-cellulite-through-exercise.html .

if you're not afraid of needles, you can try acupuncture, too. it's one of the effective ways to get rid of cellulites.

good luck!

I don't have much cellulite, but I would like to get rid of it through exercise so I can look good for Summer.
