Anti-Cellulite

Cellulite… every woman's nightmare
Cellulite is the reason many women don't want anyone to see their legs. Even seemingly thin women suffer from this unsightly menace. Unfortunately, cellulite is very stubborn and hard to get rid of (even if you lose weight) and it gets worse with age if left untreated. Cellulite is caused by cells that are engorged with excess fat, toxins or excess fluid. These cells pop out between the skin's connective tissues, causing the skin to dimple. To get rid of cellulite successfully, you need to do three things:
1. Improve microcirculation to drain off excess fluid and toxins
2. Reduce the volume of fat cells via fat burning
3. Strengthen the connective tissues of your skin

There is one kind of vegetable capsules – CelluEase, says you can get rid of that unsightly cellulite from your upper arms, thighs and buttocks and have smoother and firmer skin all over with CelluEase, a breakthrough anti-cellulite formula from France.

Triple action works from deep within to:
• Increase lipolysis (fat burning process) to reduce the size of fat cells
• Accelerate drainage and remove excess fluid, toxins and waste from congested cells
• Improve the elasticity and strength of connective tissues

Seems like 85% women notice significant improvement in just 1 month!

I saw an add for this program in cosmo magazine and was wondering if anybody has tried it yet? I hate my cellulite and have it pretty bad and I want to reduce it for the summer so I can wear shorts! If this Nivea thing doesn't work, does anybody know of anything else that does? I already work out so I need some other suggestions. Thanks!

I'd like to know the same thing! I am very interested in it.

My doctor told me to reduce my caffeine and sugar intake to reduce it. But remember, there's no cure for cellulite and most people have it at least somewhere!

You can never fully get rid of cellulite. you can improve it and prevent more from forming, but cellulite must run in your family if you have it (like so many annoying things haha). there are lotions that can tighten the skin during the day, but this is only a temporary fix. i have also heard that caffeine filled lotions or rubbing a coffee bean mixture on the skin stimulates and lifts. once again, this will only work temporarily. the best thing to do? exercise the big muscles and eat well. decrease body fat.

Caffeine is good for cellulite if you drink coffee every morning take the excess coffee ground from your pot and rub them on your problem area in the shower. also nothings going to work better then toning your body try different exercises to keep those areas tight

I worked out for 2 years -

3 hours a day with wt training and 2 cardio classes
pretty strict diet of protein, good carbs, no sugar, no caffeine
I was very toned but still had a dimple or 2
And what other active ingredients would?

How to Remove Cellulite

Understand what cellulite is. Cellulite is a fatty substance that is found under your connective tissues. As it accumulates it pushes against the connective tissues and makes the skin pucker and ripple.

Start drinking a lot of water – I mean a lot! At least 10 8oz glasses of filtered water daily. If we're going to get rid of that cellulite and the toxins stored in it we need to give your body a way to push it out.

Develop an exercise program that is designed to help remove your body fat content. Exercise is an effective way of reducing the amount of cellulite that you have. Effective exercise programs will need to include cardio, strength training and flexibility training. You should try working out at least 3 to 4 times a week.

Tone up your muscles with strength building and resistance exercises. Studies have shown that improving muscle firmness can help you get rid of cellulite. Concentrate extra time on muscle beneath the areas with lots of cellulite, but create a total body workout for best results.

Stick to a low calorie diet. Cellulite is not exclusive to overweight women, but eating healthy will keep the size of your fat cells small. This is not enough to get rid of cellulite, but it will contribute to the solution.

Buy a moisturizer that has a sunless tanner mixed in. The moisturizer will hydrate you skin and reduce the severity of the rippling. The sunless tanner will darken you skin making your cellulite less visible. This is a great cosmetic trick to hide cellulite while you work on lowering your body fat content.

Shop for a quality cellulite treatment cream. There are a lot of these products on the market. You want to look for a cream that contains antioxidants and anti-inflammatory ingredients.

Consider topical creams to that tighten the surface of the skin or the connective tissue beneath the skin. Amino acids, seaweed and ginkgo-biloba extracts all act as skin tighteners. Look for one or more of these ingredients on different anti-cellulite products.

Don't stop using topical treatments or the effects will wear off. These are only temporary fixes.

Try Aloe Vera cream. Many people report using a good Aloe Vera cream twice a day helps reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Try skin brushing. This technique is very simple and relatively inexpensive. Simply use a loofah sponge or a soft body brush and scrub your hips, thighs and belly. This not only helps you to exfoliate, but it also stimulates blood flow and supports lymph functions. This will help to minimize the appearance of cellulite.

A multi-faceted approach works best when trying to remove cellulite. Try matching a diet and exercise program with topical creams that include anti-oxidants.

Once a week put a generous layer of castor oil on the skin over the parts you are working on, put the old PJs on that you don't care about and go to sleep like that. This helps to increase your lymphatic drainage and get rid of trapped toxins!

Don't get discouraged – change takes a while, but this will help you lose weight too!

Best results can be seen after about 3 months of treatment.

Quit smoking (if u do). Many smokers have large concentrations of cellulite, making researchers think there may be a connection between smoking and cellulite.

Cut caffeine from your diet. Unfortunately, one of the toxins in cellulite appears to be from caffeine. However, many anti-cellulite creams use caffeine. Caffeine if applied to the outside of skin may help reduce cellulite. Rubbing coffee grinds on cellulite is a popular choice for many people, though researchers question its efficacy.

=)

I realize cellulite is merely fat, but aren't there treatments that can help compress or smooth the appearance of cellulite? I am not overweight, and I exercize regularly. Other than dieting down from a size 6 to a size 1, aren't there any affordable products or home remedies that can help? It's not unbearably hideous, but it does make me reluctant to wear shorts in public.

Incidentally, I've tried cellulite creams, but most are too expensive for me to use on a daily/nightly basis. I've noticed that caffeine and seaweed are frequent ingredients in cellulite creams, however. Are there any home remedies involving caffeine that might help?

Anti-Cellulite

I have found the best thing for cellulite is water I drink lots of it and try to keep that area toned. I am no exercise buff BY NO MEANS! But I do what I can I have had two kids and gained 30 lbs with them both and I have seem to avoided the dimples. Now remeber women will always have a lil dimpleage its just by nature but you can reduce its appearence with these two simple things.Hope that helps
I am overweight and currently on a weight loss regimine to loose weight. I have lost about 5 lbs already (you have to start somewhere, right?)

I just got out of my daughter's bathroom since they are redoing mine, and OMG .. the lighting made it very apparent that I have alot of cellulite and alot of stretch marks.

STRETCH MARKS
-bikini line
-lower tummy
-hips

CELLULITE
-butt
-thighs

It's not attractive at all .. Can someone please tell me how I can lessen the appearance or make it go away as much as possible???

Thanks so much!!

The best advice I can think of is to drink lots of water, eat healthy, work out and focus on the parts of your body that you like as you try to accept the parts you don't. Try not to worry about it too much. For stretch marks, I would suggest rubbing "palmer's cocoa butter cream for stretch marks" on them, followed by vitamin E oil (straight out of the caplets – buy the natural/d-alpha ones). Do this daily, preferably right after exfoliating well in the shower and once before bed. Be consistent in order to see results. But even if you don't, treating them this way will make them look and feel better to you than leaving them untreated. For cellulite, try rubbing/massaging coffee on it (since caffeine is in lots of cellulite lotions) for a couple of minutes every couple of days.

I've also read that MSM cream and supplements are good for stretch marks (see the last poster):

These links might also offer some solutions. Good luck :)

….And don't forget, at the end of the day, these are just small imperfections in a world that expects every woman to fit into some impossible ideal of "perfection". Try to keep it in perspective. It's still your body and it's still functioning well. And you can walk, run and move those stretch-marked hips back and forth. That's more than lots of people are able to do. Be grateful for your body. Anyways, your stretch marks and cellulite just show that you are a woman who HAS LIVED. :)
