I am a relatively in shape girl, but my biggest problem is the small layer of fatty, nasty, cellulite stuff on the backs of my thighs. I know that those lotions and serums aren't going to be the most economical or effective way of getting rid of the problem, but nothing else I do seems to work.
Should I be working out more and trying to burn more calories? Is there a specific exercise that you could suggest to target the problem?
Any suggestions would be a blessing!

You need to focus on reducing your current level of body fat. this means exercising at a high level of intensity for 60-80 minutes. this will cause the greatest increase in the resting metabolic rate which is when real fat loss occurs. also depending on your current level of fitness and if you are heart healthy sprinting is the king for reducing body fat. 10 all out 100 meter sprints 2-3x a week takes about 15 minutes to complete and is 10x more effective than 1 hour on the treadmill or elliptical. sprints or any form of exercise that is performed at 100% intensity causes the greatest increase in growth hormone secretion. GH is not only the most powerful fat burning substance that the body produces but it also helps to thicken the dermis further reducing the effects of cellulite.
