Wondering if anyone has gotten the massage endermology treatment done for celluite? Does it work..or is it a waste? What are some side effects if any? How long does it actualyl take…what kind of results do you see. Thanks plz let me know.
Endermologie can help the appearance of cellulite but the results are temoporary and you will need regular intervalled treatments. For more long term results you may want to check out Velasmooth or Mesotherapy. Velasmooth is like endermologie but it also causes your connective tissue to become more elastic thereby reducing the appearance of cellulite.
Cellulite is caused by two things, 1) Fatty tissue and 2) Connective tissue.
The first can be taken care of primarily by diet and working out. Drink your fair share of water, don't eat too much and work out to maintain your metabolism.
The second is more problematic and gets worse as you age because collagen is not regenerated so the tissue becomes less elastic. Also, most people gain weight as they age because of a less active life style and a drop in metabolism. This is where Velasmooth or mesotherapy come in handy.
