I am trying to get rid of some cellulite (I am only 128 pounds.. so I am not fat)…
I heard that body brushing helps to get rid of this.. What the heck does this mean. Can someone please explain??
Thanks!

Dry skin brushing ( with an all natural vegetable fiber or boars bristle brush) is supposed to stimulate the glands to be able to rid your body of toxins including those stored in fat cells inlcuding fat cells that create cellulite which would in theory lessen appearance of cellulite. I do practice dry and wet skin brushing but mostly because it is invigorating. I use the typical technique (brush towards the heart) starting at my feet and upwards. Then I take a lukewarm shower and end with a cold water rinse. It gets rids of dead skin and helps the glands work better to excrete waste. I also do this and take very steamy showers and sauna to break a sweat to further get rid of wastes. since I also work out with weights i can't say that the brushing was the remedy for my cellulite but it is less evident. I found my brush at my local health food store
good luck
